Michele Wee is the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, bringing 30 years of banking expertise to the role. She excels in strategic problem-solving, team leadership, and complex project execution. Michele joined Standard Chartered in 2011, progressing to lead Financial Markets for Singapore, Australia, and Brunei.
She served as Chairman of the Banking Working Group in Vietnam, earning recognition for her contributions. A champion of Diversity and Inclusion, Michele is a “servant leader” who empowers individuals and teams. She has consistently been recognized as a top female executive, notably ranking in the HERoes Women Executives Top 5 yearly since 2021. In 2024, she was honored with the medal “For the Great Contribution to Natural Resources and Environment” and inducted into the Heroes Hall of Fame.
